*Once her conversation with Salazar is finished, Ashley decides that she really needs to talk to Leon. So, she dials him up on her phone!*

*Ashley takes out a journal hidden in her sock drawer and flops down on her newly-made bed. She opens to a fresh page and begins to write.*

*Sighing, she closes the cover of the journal and sets her pen down on top of it. Her thoughts continue where her writing left off.*

'But I did go overboard. Way overboard. They knew each other first, and he chose her over me. There is nothing I can do to change that, and I should be happy that they are happy.'

*She gets up slowly and returns the journal to its hiding place, then heads downstairs to make herself a snack.*

*After the double disaster in the Nexus, Ashley finds herself being escorted home by Leon. It's a short trip, thanks to the Nexus portals(tm), and they are back in Washington in no time. She certainly does NOT want her parents to see her in her current state, so they will have to be cautious about getting inside. Her mother is usually asleep by this time of night, but her father is a different story, and there is no telling what he might be up to at the moment.*

I got bored and played with Photoshop.

My self defense training classes have been going well. In a few days, I'm also going to be learning how to fire a gun. I feel a lot more confident already. If it comes down to it again, no 8th_castellan, or anybody else for that matter, is going to take me without a fight!

Did I really make a truce with Salazar 8th_castellan? Well, perhaps it's for the better. I won't need to worry quite as much about his intentions anymore. If he does try anything, though, Leon governmentninja can just kick his ass again.

I went to a place called sages_of_chaos a few days ago, at the recommendation of some friends, and I met up with Leon governmentninja again. I also saw someone named Claire finalgirl, whom Leon appeared to know from a previous...adventure? Encounter? I'm not quite sure. She seems nice enough, though. When that horrible Salazar 8th_castellan showed up, she distracted him so I could get away.

They say there is a Non-Violence Field at Sages, but you never know. I thought I was safe at college, or at least as safe as I could be, considering who my father is. If Leon hadn't shown up, who knows what horrible things Lord Saddler would have made me do after sending me back to the US?

But, that's in the past now. I've learned a lot from my mistakes and I'm going to make sure that I'll be more of an asset than a hindrance next time.
